I am experienced in utilizing a combination of therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help people put therapy into practice in their lives. In addition to helping my clients, I am the Executive Director and founder of DIRT GROUP Global. Your child is the center of your life. You love them with all your heart. But they're hurting. Perhaps they cry inconsolably, fight with other children, fight with you, have nightmares, or wet the bed. You're worn out trying to help them, and don't know what to do next. You wonder if their behaviors have to do with the stressful experiences they've endured in their short lives, but you don't know how to help.
I work specifically with caregivers (parents, foster providers, etc.) and their young children (ages birth through five) together because caregivers are the primary source of healing for young ones. I utilize Child Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based therapy created for families of children who have experienced significant life stressors.
I will come to you! Meeting in your home is convenient for you, and also puts your child at ease so therapy doesn't feel so scary. You got this! You are not alone. Together, we can build a better understanding of your child and how to help them grow into happy, healthy children.
