MSW LICSW CPRP
I am experienced in utilizing a combination of therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help people put therapy into practice in their lives. I view the role of therapist as facilitator and partner to create change, acceptance, navigate transitions, manage symptoms, and achieve goals for an effective and satisfying life. [Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Wellness; Anxiety, Depression, Transition, Women’s Issues, Hoarding, and Cancer]
I have been working with kids and families for over 30 years and I enjoy speaking publicly on topics related to adolescent mental health and youth development. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in Psychology from St. John's University and my master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from St. Cloud State University. In addition to helping my clients, I am the Executive Director and founder of DIRT GROUP Global. DIRT GROUP is a resiliency and trauma-informed children's mental health application focused on gardening, farming, food, and creative arts projects. (Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Diagnostic Assessment, Resiliency, the Autonomic Nervous System, Stress Management, Grief and Loss Counseling)

Teletherapy & In-Person
Your child is the center of your life. You love them with all your heart. But they're hurting. Perhaps they cry inconsolably, fight with other children, fight with you, have nightmares, or wet the bed. You're worn out trying to help them, and don't know what to do next. You wonder if their behaviors have to do with the stressful experiences they've endured in their short lives, but you don't know how to help.
I work specifically with caregivers (parents, foster providers, etc.) and their young children (ages birth through five) together because caregivers are the primary source of healing for young ones. I utilize Child Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based therapy created for families of children who have experienced significant life stressors.
I will come to you! Meeting in your home is convenient for you, and also puts your child at ease so therapy doesn't feel so scary. You got this! You are not alone. Together, we can build a better understanding of your child and how to help them grow into happy, healthy children.
